Highfields Taxis

Highfields have always been a great service. Friendly staff and good value. I lost my phone in one of their taxis last night, and sure enough, the driver handed it in and it was returned to me today. Highly recommended.

Raa Sales Ltd

I bought a Mini Cooper from RAA sales. This is the worst experiance I have ever had. I bough the car which I was told was perfect, it had been tested in their garage and drove pefectly. I bought the car and after a month or so the gearbox failed. I tool it to a garage and was told that the gearbox had been replaced and painted over to hide this. I contacted RAA and they did nothing to help. I finally got the car back to them and they kept it for several weeks, I had to hire a car. I was told by that I would be given some money towards the hire and the cost of trasport of the Mini was it wouldnt drive. Several phone messages later and no one has called back. This is the worst experiance ever. I have never wrote review expect about this company. I have reported them to the Office of Fair Trading.

Auto Trade Tyres

I have phoned auto trade tyres for a price on some tyres, i was asked if i had prices from elsewhere and replied yes and told them the cost, these were from tyreland. They asked to call me back, which they did tony the owner called back and said he had phoned tyreland and you can not get them at that cost, i replied yes i can. Tony the owner then said go and buy them from them then and put the phone down on me. I can not believe he treats his customers like this, i for 1 run my own business and would never treat my customers like this. I have used them before and also recommended them to all my customers, after this i will NEVER use them again and will tell all of my customers not to use them either. Tony is very unprofessional and the helpful approach they state on there website is NOT true, AVOID at all costs they are also not that cheap for tyres.

Toll House Jewellery

This is a family run jewellers. The female contingent are helpful, knowledgeable and lovely. However, the man (Ian?) is unhelpful, hostile and grumpy. He told me the ring I purchased has a 0.50 carat of stone in the centre - it doesn't, it has around 0.25 carats. He just fobs you off. We have spent thousands in this jewelers over the years and it was the go to place as we wanted to support local business. But now I steer clear; when someone rolls their eyes at the prospect of a paying customer and obtuse to the point of ending up feeling tearful, I now support other businesses that have decent customer service. They are very expensive too - be careful and shop around. They also are quite reticent to give you a price up front for work.

Carol Dunning

I have seen Carol 3 times in seven years and each time she has been consistent in what she says. She is warm and friendly and immediatley puts you at ease. She is honest and upfront and interprets what she sees from the cards. She only ever takes your first name and I have never felt that she has probed me for information. Immediatley today she knew my mum was having tests before I even sat down! I would recommend her to anyone. She isn't the cheapest and you get around 35 minutes but she is detailed and precise.
